Bostik Hydroment Vivid Rapid-Curing Grout – 10 lb Bag

Hydroment® Vivid™ is a rapid-curing, high-performance cement grout built for pros who want predictable color, fast return to service, and easier cleanup. Bostik’s HyDrix™ Technology helps control curing and strength development, while Color Suspension™ keeps pigment evenly suspended during installation for more consistent grout joints. Suitable for interior/exterior, floors/walls, and dry to intermittent wet or even submerged applications (with proper cure time).

  • HyDrix™ controlled curing: Helps manage the timing and formation of the grout’s internal matrix for strong, durable joints and reliable jobsite performance.

  • Color Suspension™ consistency: Forms a protective matrix around pigment to keep color evenly suspended during application and cleanup for more uniform grout lines.

  • Rapid curing: Keep foot traffic off until firmly set—typically ~3–4 hours (temperature/humidity affect cure).

  • Wide joint range: Designed for 1/16″ to 1/2″ grout joints.

  • Efflorescence resistance: Helps reduce whitening and hazing for cleaner-looking joints.

  • 0 VOCs (SCAQMD 1168): VOC compliant for indoor jobs and occupied spaces.

  • Blockade® Antimicrobial Protection: Helps protect against bacteria, mold, and mildew growth on the surface of the dried grout.

  • Installer-friendly working characteristics: Grout “floats” smoothly across tile, tools easily, and cleans up with proper timing and minimal water.

Important Limitations

  • Not for polished marble (use an unsanded grout suited for that surface).

  • Not for areas needing high chemical resistance (use an epoxy grout system).

  • Don’t grout over control/expansion joints.

  • Maintain temps 50°F–100°F during install and for 72 hours after; avoid exterior use if rain is expected within 72 hours.

  • Allow 14 days cure before immersion (pools/spas/fountains).
