The wedi S-DRY Mixing Valve Collar is a purpose-built waterproofing accessory that seals around the shower’s mixing valve—one of the most common leak-risk penetrations behind tile. It bonds into the membrane layer to help block moisture migration behind wall tile.

Fits common valve openings (and can be modified): Listed as Ø 3-15/16 in. and wedi notes it may be modified by cutting the fleece to open the diameter for larger valves (avoid cutting the top half).

Simple thinset install: Applied with cement-based tile adhesive (thinset) and pressed flat to remove air pockets; seams in wet areas are treated with a joint sealant to prevent water migration behind tape.
